Eating healthy food is the original form of staying healthy. You can have a very wide variety of healthy food to choose from. Eating healthy can benefit your life in many, many ways. Did you know that eating healthier food can actually improve your mood? Yes, it is true. Eating better-for-you food helps you become less grumpy, annoyed, and even helps you sleep better. Let's start by replacing okay foods with even better foods.

To make the process fun, we can play fine food vs. great food!

  • Rice vs. Farro- Well, farro already wins, easily. It contains more protein, fiber, and it even has iron in it. Brown rice has no iron and has lower amounts of protein and fiber. It is fine to have brown rice, it's just that farro is better for you.

  • Chicken vs. Salmon- I know that some people have fish allergies, so chicken would be a better choice. Now for those who can have fish, salmon is better. Chicken has more Riboflavin, but salmon is an excellent source of vitamin D and has less cholesterol and less saturated fat than chicken. It very close, but fish usually has more benefits than chicken. They are both high in protein and potassium, but salmon wins the race.

  • Apples vs. Oranges- The winner is very clear if you are trying to boost your immune system. Oranges come out on top. While apples have more fiber, oranges contain more vitamins and minerals, like vitamin c. You can still eat apples, in fact you should. Apples can provide you a good amount of daily fiber. Oranges are just better for you.

Creating a healthy food diet can help you live better in many ways. You can still have sweets and candy, just try to cut it back a bit. Also, talk to a doctor before making a full diet. Remember to start small, and then you could go bigger. Eat healthier to become happier so you can carry on with your life in a better way.
